T.L.S., C de Gaulle, two pages, folio, Paris, 6th January 1966, to Americo Deus Rodrigues Thomaz, in French. De Gaulle thanks his correspondent for their letter informing him of Thomaz's re-election as President of the Portuguese Republic from 1965 to 1972 and continues to express his desire to ensure that they work together to further strengthen the bonds of friendship between France and Portugal.
