BERKELMANN THEODOR: (1894-1943) German Nazi SS-Gruppenfuhrer. Berkelmann served as Higher SS and Police Leader in Saarland and Moselle during WWII. Signed 12mo clipped piece, with two lines in his hand, being part of a larger document, and stating `Breslau (Wroclaw), 20th September 1935, Berkelmann, SS-Brigadefuhrer, fuhrer, 44 Abschnitt VI´. Also bearing a purple ink stamp of his regiment showing the Nazi eagle and swastika. Written and signed by Berkelmann in bold blue fountain pen ink. Neatly affixed to the lower white border of an 8 x 10 printed photograph of Berkelmann. G
