JOHN PAUL II: (1920-2005) Pope of the Catholic Church 1978-2005, later canonised as Pope Saint John Paul II in 2014. A good signed colour 4 x 6 photograph of the Pope in a semi-profile half-length pose wearing his plain white cassock and zucchetto and with one hand raised as he makes a papal blessing. Signed in black ink with his name alone to a light area at the base of the image. Accompanied by a T.L.S. by Bishop Stanislaw Dziwisz, on one side of a correspondence card, Vatican, 25th May 2000, to a lady, in Polish, forwarding the photograph 'signed personally by the Holy Father'.
