The book is dedicated to the work of Robert Falk (1886-1958) on creating scenery for the legendary performances of the State Jewish Theater (GOSET) - "Night at the Old Market" and "The Journey of Benjamin III". 34 mounted coloured full-page plates of Falk's theatrical works are reproduced.. Numerous information and photographs on the history of Jewish culture in Russia also are presented.
