Vase / Gefäß - Mohnblumen mit Schmetterling - Theodor Schmuz-Baudiss
Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur (KPM), Berlin um Sept. 1904. Porzellan, weiß, glasiert. Unter der Glasur blau-grün bemalt. Unter der Glasur blaue Zeptermarke. Ein Schleifstrich. Eingeritzt: LTM 15955 ... (?). H. 26 cm, D. 15 cm. - Lit.: Irene von Treskow. Die Jugendstil-Porzellan der KPM. S. 304, September 1904 Modellnr. 7710: Schmuz-Baudiss - Gefäß verziert mit Mohnblumen und Schmetterling. - Prov.: Privatsammlung. Entwurf Theodor Schmuz-Baudiss (1859-1942). Diese Vase trägt noch keine STB Signatur - diese wurde erst ab 1905 verwendet, sodass sie recht unmittelbar nach Produktionsbeginn entstanden sein dürfte. "Beachtenswert ist die Darstellung zweier MOHNBLÜTEN mit einem SCHMETTERLING. Der Gesamteindruck vermittelt das Gesicht einer EULE."
