Entwurf von Koloman Moser, Wien, ca. 1900. Durch die Wiener Silberschmiede Franz Hiess und Söhne ausgeführt. Perlmutt auf Holz. 900er Silber. Punzen: Herst.- und Stadtmarke. Rote Glassteine. Messing. Glaseinsatz. 5,5 x 14,2 x 9,8 cm. - Lit.: Klein & Bishop, "Decorative Art 1880-1980", S. 37 Abb. 5 (zeitgenössische Aufnahme). - Prov.: Privatsammlung. Zierliche Arbeit mit dekorativem Aufsätzen aus Silber und Schmucksteinen auf der Perlmuttoberfläche. Vor dem Fäßchen eine kleine Ablagefläche für einen Stift. - Unter dem Federdeckel ein patentierter Gelbmetallbehälter mit originalem Glaseinsatz. - Zustand: Kl. sehr sauberer Rest. Kl. Sprung am Druckknopf für den Deckel.
