Die Arbeit liegt lose. Minim. Randmängel. Die Arbeit geht auf einen Japanaufenthalt 1971/72 zurück, in dem der Konzeptkünstler Nikolaus Lang u. a. die nördlich Honshus gelegene Insel Sado besuchte. Lang, der in seinem Werk besonders das Erleben fremder Kulturen thematisiert, interessierte sich auf der Insel besonders für die dort blühenden Feuerlilien. Eine tote Krähe, die er am Straßenrand fand, verbrannte er in einer Art Ritus. Die Fotos und der Text der hier angebotenen Arbeit erinnern an diesen Vorgang.
