Miguel Ortiz Berrocal
1933 Algaidas - 2006 Antequera - "Mini-David" - Metall, vernickelt. H. 13,8 cm. Seitlich sign.: Berrocal. Modell No. 2935. Berrocal studierte in Madrid. Er begann in Nähe zu Chillida mit geschweißten Eisenkonstruktionen. Das Unverwechselbare seiner Kunst ist die Zerlegbarkeit der plastischen Form. Hierdurch ist die Gestaltung für den Betrachter haptisch erfahrbar. 1954 war Berrocal erstmals auf der Biennale in Venedig vertreten. Der Künstler ist weltweit in Museen vertreten. Er lebte in Negrar bei Verona.
