1876 Wien - 1953 Düsseldorf - Bäuerin mit Ziegen - Öl/Holz. 50 x 40 cm. Sign. und dat. r. u.: Jul. P. Junghans (sic!). Rahmen. - Lit.: Th.-B. XIX. S. 327. Julius Paul Junghanns wurde zum international bekannten Maler der traditionellen Tier- und Freilichtmalerei der Düsseldorfer Schule. Er war Schüler von Frey und Pohle in Dresden und von Heinrich von Zügel in München. Von 1904-44 war J. Professor an der Düsseldorfer Akademie.
