1944 Sonthofen - 1994 Bad Godesberg - Meer und Sterne - Collage und Mischtechnik/Lwd. 28,5 x 35 cm. Rahmen. Buthe studierte an der Werkkunstschule in Kassel Malerei. Seit 1970 reiste er regelmäßig nach Marokko. Seit 1983 war er Professor an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
