Albert Hinrich Hussmann
1874 Lüdingworth - 1946 Fürstenberg - Trabendes Fohlen - Bronze. Schwarzbraun patiniert. Schwarzer Marmorsockel. H. o./m. Sockel: 28/31 cm. Auf der Standfläche sign.: Albert Hinrich Hussmann. Auf der Schmalseite der Standfläche mit dem Gießervermerk: BILDGIESSEREI / KRAAS / BERLIN S 42. Sockel best. - Lit.: Th.-B. XVIII, S. 182. Hussmann studierte in Berlin bei W. Friedrich, P. Meyerheim und G. Janensch. Er war Mitbegründer der Zunft St. Lukas. Der Künstler schuf Tierdarstellungen, insbesondere Reiterszenen. Seit 1899 war er auf der Grossen Berliner Kunstausstellung regelmäßig vertreten. Die Titel der Arbeiten lauten u.a. Don Quijote, Kentaur, Parsival und totes Rennen. 1914 erhielt Hussmann für eine Reiterfigur die Goldene Medaille.
