2x Consecutive *Fancy Serial* 1957B $1 Blue Seal Silver Certificates, All CU! Fr-1621 Grades Gem++ CU. On June 4th 1963, President Kennedy issued Executive Order 11110, ordering that silver certificates be phased out. No one knew it would be his last executive order, and no one knew that it would make these 1957-B Silver Certificates sought-after collectibles today. His order caused folks to take notice and save a small number of these 1957-B $1 Silver Certificates-they were only 14% of the total 1957 Silver Certs printed. These silver certificates feature George Washington, a blue seal, and the following wording: “Silver Certificate This certifies that there is on deposit in the treasury of The United States of America One Dollar In silver payable on demand”
