1971 New Zealand Decimal Currency Commemorative Dollar, second crowned portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.. This is a New Zealand Decimal Currency Commemorative Dollar and housed in a rigid plastic case. On July 10, 1967 the New Zealand currency changed from the pound to the dollar. This coin was produced in commemoration of this event. On the front is a crowned shield within silver fern leaves, on the back is Queen Elizabeth II.
