The set contains proof versions of the first five coins in the new America the Beautiful Quarters Program bearing reverse (tails side) designs honoring Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas; Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming; Yosemite National Park in California; Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona; and Mount Hood National Forest in Oregon. A restored version of the 1932 John Flanagan portrait of George Washington is featured on the coins’ obverse (heads side).
