HaEmunah HaRama – First Edition – Stamp of the Rebbe of Sadigura
HaEmunah HaRama (Jewish philosophy). Frankfurt am Mein, [1853]. First edition.
On the title page, the stamp of the Rebbe Rabbi Nachum Dober Freidman. With an illustration of a lion in its center. An additional stamp om the lower part of the title page, faded, hand-colored. He was the grandson of the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, who owned a large and important library.
The copy before us contains only the Hebrew section, unlike other copies which contain also a German translation and commentary.
Original, ancient binding, with golden decorations.
Good condition. Wear.
