Such a book has never been seen in auctions! It is extremely rare, especially in such a good condition as the copy before us, with all the songs, musical notes and picture.
All the leaves of the book re decorated with a nice frame.
Among the chapters:
Letter to the Barons by the author.
Two interesting prefaces by the author.
Poems in honor of the Barons. Vowelized.
An illustration of the Baron Hirsch's portrait (pp. 13).
18 chpter sin which the author explains, according to religious sources, the virtue of working the land and the disadvantages of trade.
The next leaves contain nice poems and songs, some of them vowelized, in honor of the Barons.
The following chapter is dedicated to special prayers written by the author in honor of the Barons. Among others, he says: "You are the God who chose the Baron Rothschild to build colonies for the sons of Israel in our Holy Land".
On the next leaf, which is not numbered, "The Peasant's Song" – musical notes of a song most likely written and composed by the author. The song has 72 (!) stanzas.
After it, "The Children's Song", written by the author who explains with which tune it should be sung.
In the next pages, the author printed words of admonishment in Biblical language. On one of the leaves, the author added by hand a sentence that had been omitted in the printing.
At the end of the book there is a complete chapter specifying the lessons to be learnt from the chapters of the book.
To conclude, before us is a unique, unknown literary work!
