His handwritten signature on the inner binding from the days he studied at the Telz yeshiva.
His name appears in golden letters on the binding.
Extyremely rare!
Rabbi Chaim Stein (1913-2011) was the head of the Telz Yeshiva. During the late 1920's, he heard lessons from the then head of yeshiva, Rabbi Yosef Yehuda Leib Bloch and from Rabbi Chaim Rabinowitz.
After the war, he moved to the USA and joined the new Telz Yeshiva of Cleveland. Immediately when he arrived there, he was appointed the Mashgiach of the yeshiva.
Condition: Good. Detached title page with flaws. Stains.
