Manuscript by Rabbi Yehuda Fetayah –Variations between the Manuscript and the Printed Version
A leaf written on both its sides, handwritten by the Kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Fetayah author of "Minchat Yehuda".
The leaf is from his book "Beit Lechem Yehuda", commentary on the book "Etz Chaim" by Rabbi Chaim Vital, handwritten by him with erasures, corrections and additions between the lines.
There are variations between the manuscript and the printed version regarding the structure of the things.
Rabbi Yehuda Fetayah (1859-1942), one of the most prominent Kabbalists and Torah scholars of Iraq, a disciple of the "Ben Ish Chai". After he immigrated to Jerusalem in 1934 he learned in the Kabbalistic Yeshiva of Ha'Rav Ha'Sadeh together with his friend Rabbi Ya'akov Chaim Sofer author of "Kaf Ha'Chaim". Author of the books "Beit Lechem Yehuda", "Matok L'Nefesh" on the Idra and other books. He dealt a lot with Tikkunim and Amulets according to the Kabbalah, and for years dealt with expelling "Dibbukim" and "Ruchot Ra'ot", as he himself relates in his book "Ha'Ruchot Mesaprot". During the World War II, he wrote Kabbalistic prayers and Tikkunim and organized prayer gatherings of the great Kabbalists for the salvation of the Jews of Israel from the Nazis.
