Bronze Buddha, China Ming Dynastie 16. Jahrhundert, Guanyin Buddha farblich gefasst mit teils vorhandener Altvergoldung in Maharajalilasana auf einem aus dem Wasser aufsteigenden Lotussockel sitzend, rechter Arm gestützt und der Linke auf Knie gelegt, beide Hände mit Lotosblütenstängel an den Oberarmen. Der Buddha ist in verschiedene Gewänder gehüllt, darunter ein Unterrock, der um die Taille mit einem vorn geknoteten Band befestigt ist und ein weitärmeliger Mantel, der beide Schultern bedeckt. Sein Gesicht trägt einen heiteren Ausdruck, mit leicht niedergeschlagenen Augen unter sanft gewölbten Augenbrauen. Bronze Buddha, China Ming Dynasty 16th century, Guanyin Buddha painted in color with some old gilding in Maharajalilasana sitting on a lotus base rising out of the water, right arm supported and the left rested on knees, both hands with lotus flower stems on the upper arms. The Buddha is dressed in various garments, including a petticoat fastened around the waist with a ribbon knotted at the front and a wide-sleeved cloak that covers both shoulders. His face has a serene expression, with slightly downcast eyes under gently arched eyebrows.
