GUGLIELMO MARCONI - FATHER'S LETTER ”TO GIGINO” - Giuseppe Marconi (1823-1904), was a landowner who lived in the countryside of Pontecchio and was at his second marriage. A widower with a son, he had met a young Irishwoman, Annie Jameson (1840-1920), granddaughter of the founder of the historic Jameson & Sons distillery, who was visiting Italy to study bel canto, marrying her on April 16, 1864 in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France. A year after the marriage, Alfonso (1865-1936) was born and, nine years later, Guglielmo. Long letter from Guglielmo Marconi's father, Giuseppe, on headed paper, to a relative, in which he addresses various topics. Perfectly preserved. Unobtainable!
