Early Medieval Silver Ring With Mythical Bird , Circa 8th-10th Century AD
A silver finger ring with a flat sectioned loop, a circular bezel engraved with the image of a mythical bird standing right with open wings, star next to it; 19.40mm internal diameter, 20.85 mm max overall diameter, 2.66 grams. Ex EU private collector. The collection formed in the 1990s and later dispersed on the EU art market.
