Gold ring with elevated bezel , encasing red carnelian intaglio with image of god Sarapis standing, holding sceptre with snake around it ; 19.26mm max internal diameter, 23.06 mm external diameter, 5.54 grams; US size 7, UK size O From the collection of a London gentleman. Acquired from the US collector, originally EU art market in the 1990s.
