Scythian Bronze Animal Mount Group (3), Circa 5th-3rd century BC
Comprising three mounts in the shape of an eagle with hooked beak, a wolf, and a leopard; each with D-shaped loop to the reverse. 7.1 grams total, 15-21 mm (5/8 - 3/4 in.). [3] Ex German art market, 2000s. Acquired from an EU collector living in London. From the collection of Surrey, UK, gentleman.
