A LARGE CHINESE BLUE & WHITE PORCELAIN BOWL, MING DYNASTY, 16TH CENTURY. Decorated with a floral pattern in the centre and a trellis border around the rim. The outer surface is simply decorated with just two underglaze blue lines surrounding the rim and foot. Ming Dynasty, 16th century, probably Jiajing reign (1522 – 1566). 21.5cm diam.
A chip to the rim leading into a 4.5cm vertical hairline. Slight old chip to foot. A good ring when tapped. No repair or restoration.
