TWO CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE ENAMELLED YELLOW GROUND BOWLS, 20TH CENTURY. One with enamelled four character Qianlong seal and peach mark, the other with enamelled blue four character Qianlong seal mark, each painted with panels of birds in landscape within interlocking gilt ovolo strapwork reserved against a yellow ground decorated with peony, flowers and grapes, within key-pattern turquoise ground borders, 21cm and 19.7cm diam. (2)
Provenance
Property of an English Gentleman, acquired in Taiwan in the 1970s. Overall in good order. Both with some slight wear to gilding and very minor wear to enamels, slight discolouration to interior celadon glaze.
