19th century, ebonised hardwood case, stepped hinged lid with integrated secret compartment, coffered all around and decorated with flame mouldings, two-door front over shallow drawer, the interior with five further small drawers and writing tablet, in need of restoration, dimensions 30 x 35 x 24 cm.
