Bavarian official sword
circa 1850, full blade, ornamentally and militarily etched on both sides at 32 cm (minimally spotted in the lower third), maker WK & C and two knight's heads (Weyersberg and Kirschbaum Solingen), a lying lion on the guard, two rosettes on the top left and right, grip ring and side grip rails decorated with leaves, the grip scales of mother-of-pearl, on the obverse the Bavarian royal crown in a halo, the quillons merging on one side into the guard, the grip cap a lion's head, leather scabbard with mouth plate and locating band, the carrying hook in the form of a coat of arms, with a buckskin sabre pouch, Z 2, L ges. 90 cm.
