Transforming Biedermeier desk
circa 1820, completely veneered in yew root wood, ebonised mouldings, transforming desk, which, by turning a crank in each corner, extends four supports, which are lifted by four straps, the conical round feet hollow, decorated with narrow fluted capitals, each end with drawers, unrestored original condition, not complete, strong traces of age as well as drying cracks, rest.condition, H 77 cm, dimensions H 140 x 97 x 62 cm.
