Schwarzburg Werkstätten "Ash Wednesday"
Designed by Wolfgang Schwartzkopff circa 1920/21, signed, embossed lettering and fox mark before 1926, cancelled once, embossed model number U379, naturalistic moulding in white porcelain, on oval base depicting a young dancing couple as Pierrot and Pierrette in an expressive pose, some spotted glaze defects due to manufacturing, otherwise good condition, h 35 cm.
