Designed by Nicolas Lecorney (1825 to ?), Paris, c. 1900, signed, indistinct embossed mark EB Paris, naturalistic moulding in bisque porcelain, a young mother standing on an oval terrain base with a stele support, holding out her arms for the safety of the infant running in front of her with her hands raised, good condition according to age, partial fire cracks, h 59.5 cm.
