Large Dreihausen wine jug
Mid 18th century, grey stoneware hand-turned, dark brown engobed, decorated with bands in relief and incised as well as surrounding hook motifs, original pewter lid (unpunctured), engraved owner's monogram "HRW", with slender ball handle, pewter stand ring and lid old repaired, minor manufacturing defects, h 39 cm.
