Frankfurt pear jug
dated 1722, the bottom with a brushed number mark 5, light grey faience body glazed in white and painted with cobalt blue sharp fire paint, figures between sponged trees, pewter mount consisting of a stand ring, lip rim with band, overlapping lid with ball pusher and pewter band running over the handle to the stand ring, finely engraved owner's monogram "MFB" in the leaf wreath, good condition for age, h 28 cm.
