Pair of baroque silver candlesticks Augsburg
stamped pine nut 1755-57, master mark for the silversmith and foaming master Hans Jacob IV. Baur, master 1712, died 1774, finely chased, twisted ribbed baroque form with curved, wide sweeping base, tremolo mark, hollow worked, baluster stem, fixed spouts, somewhat pressed and a tiny tear, otherwise good condition for age, h approx. 17.5 cm, g together approx. 460 g.
