Horst Peter Meyer, Two prints
titled "Der vergessene Tag" and "Eingang Bestätigung", etchings, signed and dated in lead on the right under the image "HP. Meyer (19)95" and titled on the left, image dimensions approx. 10 x 15 cm, sheet dimensions approx. 23 x 29 cm. Artist's info: Germ. Painter and graphic artist (born 1947 in Weimar), skilled worker as upholsterer, 1966-68 theatre painter, restorer's assistant, 1968-73 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden with Horst Jokusch, Gerhard Kettner, Herbert Kunze and Hans Mroczinski, subsequently freelance, 1977-80 master student of Paul Michaelis, 1974-82 teaching position in Weimar, co-organiser of the series "Musik und Grafik" at the Academy of Music in Weimar, member of the VBK of the GDR, source: Eisold "Artists in the GDR".
