After Pablo Picasso, Cubist Head
abstract female head, polychrome chalk lithograph after a drawing by Pablo Picasso, dated "13.1.(19)62" and signed "Picasso" in the image, freshly coloured print, framed under mount and behind glass, image dimensions approx. 34.5 x 26.5 cm. Artist's info: Spanish painter, graphic artist and sculptor (1881 Malaga to 1973 Mougins), studied at the Barcelona School of Art in 1895, briefly at the San Fernando Academy in Madrid in 1897, first stay in Paris in 1900, moved to Paris in 1903, also worked in Vallauris, Antibes, Aix-en-Provence and Mougins, source: among others Thieme-Becker, Vollmer and Wikipedia.
