Prof. Otto Piene, poster "Lichtballett"
original graphic poster, using a motif executed in variants by Otto Piene in 1964-72, strongly alienated portrait of a young woman, in bright colours on an orange background, colour silkscreen, published for the exhibition "Otto Piene - Lichtballett und Künstler der Gruppe Zero" at the Galerie Heseler in Munich in 1972, minimal signs of age and somewhat soiled, sheet size approx. 71 x 50.5 cm. Artist info: German artist and co-founder of the artist group ZERO (1928 Bad Laasphe to 2014 Berlin), 1949-50 studied painting and art education at the academy in Munich and from 1950-53 studied at the art academy in Düsseldorf, 1951-64 lecturer at the fashion school in Düsseldorf, 1957 together with Heinz Mack founded the artist group ZERO, 1964 visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania, from 1972 professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 2008 foundation of the ZERO foundation, Source: Wikipedia and Internet.
