Female figure with rainbow-coloured wings standing between two chairs, colour lithograph, 1975, signed in pencil "Wunderlich" on the right and numbered "27/100" on the left below the depiction, strips of adhesive tape slightly showing through in the two upper corners, framed behind glass, dimensions of depiction approx. 60 x 50 cm, dimensions of sheet approx. 66 x 50 cm. Artist info: Germ. Painter, draughtsman, sculptor and graphic artist (1927 Eberswalde to 2010 Saint-Pierre-de-Vassols), childhood in Eutin, studied 1947-1951 at the Hochschule für bildende Künste (HBK) Hamburg with Willem Grimm, from 1952 teaching at the HBK, undertook study trips to Paris, Spain and southern France, later worked as a printer for Oskar Kokoschka and Emil Nolde, 1961-63 worked in Paris, 1963-68 professorship in Hamburg, afterwards numerous national and international exhibitions, 2007 opening of the "Paul-Wunderlich-Haus" in Eberswalde, which houses a permanent exhibition of sculptures and graphics by the artist, worked in Hamburg and Saint-Pierre-de-Vassols (Provence) , source: Vollmer, Heinz Spielmann "Paul Wunderlich - Sculptures and Objects" and Internet.
