Manfred Feiler, Abstrakte Strukturen
abstract painting on a plastically structured ground in shades of green and white, mixed media on hardboard, late 20th century, unsigned, inscribed on the reverse "Orginal [sic!] aus dem Atelier meines Vaters, Manfred Feiler, U. Feiler-Schulze", image carrier minimally bumped at the corners, unframed, dimensions approx. 60 x 80 cm. Artist's info: German painter, designer and illustrator (1925 Plauen/Vogtland until 2020 Plauen), 1939-43 pupil of the Plauen art school, promoted by Kurt Geipel and Walter Löbering, from 1943 military service in the 2nd World War and severe injury. After 1945 he worked for a time as an advertising designer and draughtsman for textile companies, from 1952 he worked as a freelance artist, painting stays in Venice and Mallorca, in 2011 he was made an honorary citizen of Plauen, active in Plauen, Source: Vollmer, Frank Weiß "Malerei im Vogtland" and Internet.
