A lady putting on her stockings in the artist's studio, see catalogue raisonné Schmidt 88-10 (the etching is shown here as discarded), watercolour etching, signed and dated in lead "Herta Günther 1968" on the right and titled and inscribed ""Modelle" Blatt 10" on the left, dated again in the plate "20. XI (19)68", somewhat wavy, framed under mount and behind glass, dimensions approx. 9,1 x 10,5 cm. Artist's info: Germ. Painter, draughtswoman and graphic artist (1934 Dresden to 2018 Dresden), first apprenticeship as graphic draughtswoman, studied 1951-56 at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste (HBK) Dresden with Hans-Theo Richter and Max Schwimmer, from 1957 freelance in Dresden, undertook study trips to Bulgaria, CSSR, USSR, Hungary, France, Denmark, Austria and Italy, from 1956 member of the Association of Visual Artists (VBK) of the GDR and the Dresden Artists' Association, from 1957 freelance, participated in numerous exhibitions, including the art exhibitions of the GDR, active in Dresden , source: Lang "Malerei und Grafik in der DDR", Hütt "Grafik in der DDR", Thomas "Die Malerei der DDR", Eisold "Künstler in der DDR" and internet.
