Round painting of the Heart of Jesus
Iconic tondo with the Heart of Jesus and the inscription "Jesum habemus socium" usually used by the Jesuits, predominantly mat tempera painting, with translucent details in the background, on a punched and gilded ground on wood, probably Pre-Raphaelite, end of 19th cent, unsigned, partial loss of gilding, partial loss of painting layer, retouched, unframed, diameter c. 29.5 cm.
