circa 1760, long rectangular carved tortoiseshell tabatiere with silver mounts and inlays, these extremely filigree engraved in piqué technique, the lid showing a figural antique scene, the base decorated with a rocaille cartouche, signs of age and wear, dimensions 5.5 x 7.5 cm.
