Cavalry sword of the Guard Cuirassier Regiment
circa 1880, wedge blade with double fullers on both sides, three sides ornamented, with military motifs and "Garde Kürassier Rgt. etched, distribution by "F. Damaschke, Hoflieferant Berlin" on the back of the blade (the blade is corroded and heavily scarred, etching on one side barely visible), brass grip cap and basket hilt with three clasps, checkered grip (winding missing), metal scabbard with one suspension loop (heavily corroded), Z 4-5, rare sabre with heavy signs of age and use, l total 110 cm.
