The Hague/Netherlands, dated 1910, titled in the motif lower left and inscribed lower right "n. Klinkenberg" as well as ligature monogram KB, on the verso black stamp mark 1900-1914, brushed order number 657 and year mark, transverse rectangular tile plate, light-coloured body with fine underglaze painting in earth colours, view of the Groenburg whale in Amsterdam with seesaw bridge, boats and the South Church (Zuiderkerk) in the background after a painting by Johannes Christiaan Karel Klinkenberg (1852 The Hague to 1924), framed in black lacquer molding of the time, this partially bumped, otherwise good condition according to age, dimensions of plate approx. 26 x 34 cm, dimensions of frame 42,5 x 50 cm.
