Pair of mythological pictorial cups in the Viennese style
Probably porcelain painter Richard Wehsener Dresden, circa 1900, imitated band shield mark in onglaze blue and golden painter's mark as a flower, partly on green maker's mark Hermann Ohme Niedalzbrunn/Silesia 1883-1922. over green maker's mark Hermann Ohme Niedersalzbrunn/Silesia 1883-1922, cylindrical cup with ear handle and polychrome onglaze as well as splendid relief gold painting, large rectangular cartouche on the front with inscribed depiction "Psyche at the water", signed Thumann resp. "Venus and Cupid", signed Richter, on the reverse floral and figural motifs with strings of pearls over different coloured backgrounds, matching saucers with corresponding decoration, the gold decoration on the Venus cup slightly rubbed on the reverse, otherwise in good condition for its age, h complete 7 cm each.
