Artist info: actually Luigi Alois Heinrich Kasimir, Austrian painter and graphic artist (1881 Pettau to 1962 Vienna), son of the painter Alois Kasimir, early encouragement by the drawing professor of the Technical University of Graz Heinrich Bank, studied 1900-05 at the Vienna Academy under William Unger and Sigmund L'Allemand, 1906-07 at the Graphische Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Vienna and at the Kunstgewerbeschule Graz with Leo Diet, appointed professor by Emperor Franz-Joseph, received numerous honours, among others the 1910 State Prize, the Golden and Silver Medal of the City of Graz, member of the Genossenschaft Bildender Künstler der Steiermark, active in Vienna , source: Thieme-Becker, Vollmer, Saur Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", AKL, Dressler and Wikipedia.
