Chair in front of a grey wall, large-format, elaborate colour etching, signed and dated in pencil "Meckseper (19)69" and numbered "5/100" on the left, minimally light-stained, framed under mount and behind glass, approx. 43 x 58.5 cm. Artist info: German painter, graphic artist, draughtsman and designer (1936 Bremen to 2019 Bremen), childhood in Stuttgart, 1952-55 mechanic apprenticeship as locomotive designer, subsequently studied at the Stuttgart Academy with Karl Rössing, 1957-59 studied at the HBK Berlin with Wolf Hoffmann, 1961-84 worked in Worpswede, since 1985 in Berlin, received several honours, a. o. 1963 German Rome Prize Villa Rompreis Villa Hoffmann. e.g. 1963 German Rome Prize Villa Massimo, temporarily active as lecturer, represented among others in the Carl and Eva Großhaus Collection , source: Internet.
