Müller", partly minimal signs of age, different sheet sizes. Artist's info: Germ. Painter, draughtsman, graphic artist and designer (1874 Tschirnitz [Perštejn] an der Eger to 1954 Dresden-Loschwitz), early showed his extraordinary artistic talent, at the suggestion of the Meissen porcelain painter Johann Heinrich Theil 1888-90 pupil of the painting school of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Meissen, studied 1890-94 at the Dresden Academy under Leon Pohle, Ernst Moritz Geyger and Leonhard Gey, although he had not yet reached the minimum age for admission, Member of the 'Goppelner Künstlerkreis', 1895 autodidactic study of etching technique at the suggestion of Max Klinger, 1896 won the 'Großer Rompreis' with his etching 'Adam und Eva' and travelled to Italy, 1897-1900 teacher at the Dresden Art School, 1900-35 teacher and from 1903 professor of painting and drawing as well as member of the Academic Council at the Dresden Academy, 1914-18 military service in World War I in France, 1933-35 their work is still in progress. World War I in France, 1933-35 its rector, attended the great German art exhibitions in the House of German Art in Munich, received numerous awards, among others a gold medal at the World Exhibition 1900 in Paris, from 1944 included in the "Gottbegnadeten-Liste", represented among others in museums in Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Chicago, Karlsruhe, Leipzig and Bucharest, board member of the Saxon Artists' Council and member of the Dresden Art Cooperative, active in Dresden-Loschwitz, Source: Thieme-Becker, Vollmer, Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", Dressler, "Künstler am Dresdner Elbhang" and Internet.
