Artist info: German painter, graphic artist and educator (1919 Jößnitz to 2002 Jößnitz), 1934-38 studied at the art and technical school for textile industry Plauen, afterwards trainee as stage designer at the theatre Plauen, 1951-54 studied at the pedagogical institute Erfurt, worked as art educator and freelance in Jößnitz and Plauen, source: Vollmer and Frank Weiß "Malerei im Vogtland".
