Jh., kirchenslawisch bezeichnet, Tempera auf massiver Holzplatte, aufwendig getriebenes, punziertes und versilbertes Metalloklad, frontale halbfigurige Darstellung des Heiligen Nikolaus von Myra, Schutzpatron Russlands, in reichem Inkarnat, die rechte Hand zum Segensgestus erhoben, in der linken ein Evangelienbuch haltend, in Kopfhöhe flankiert von Christus und der Muttergottes, welche ihm die Bischofsattribute reichen, Altersspuren, Maße 26 x 22 cm.

Late 19th cent, inscribed in Church Slavonic, tempera on a solid wooden panel, elaborately chased, punched and silver-plated metalloclad, frontal half-length depiction of St Nicholas of Myra, patron saint of Russia, in rich incarnation, his right hand raised in a gesture of blessing, holding a gospel book in his left, flanked at head height by Christ and the Virgin Mary, who are handing him the bishop's attributes, signs of age, dimensions 26 x 22 cm.
