an einem Gartentisch mit Blumenstrauß sitzende junge Frau, lasierende, teils pastose Malerei mit breitem Pinselduktus, Öl auf Leinwand, rechts unten monogrammiert "H.H.", rückseitig auf der Leinwand bezeichnet "Herbert Helmert" und betitelt "Im Garten", gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 60 x 80 cm.
Künstlerinfo: dt. Maler und Zeichner (1924 Dresden bis 1997 München), Kindheit in Meißen, ab 1939 Lehre zum Porzellanmaler an der Meissener Porzellanmanufaktur, auf Anraten seiner Ausbilder 1940 Abbruch der Lehre und bis 1944 Studium an der Akademie Dresden, 1944 Übersiedlung nach Berlin, ab 1951 Studium an der Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Berlin-Charlottenburg bei Max Kaus und bis 1954 Meisterschüler von Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, ab 1965 in München tätig, unternahm 1965-68 Studienreisen nach Frankreich, hier beeinflusst durch Henri Matisse und Pierre Bonnard Quelle: Vollmer und Wikipedia.

Painter and draughtsman (1924 Dresden - 1997 Munich), childhood in Meissen, from 1939 apprenticeship as a porcelain painter at the Meissen porcelain manufactory, on the advice of his instructors in 1940 discontinued his apprenticeship and studied at the Dresden Academy until 1944, moved to Berlin in 1944, from 1951 studied at the Berlin-Charlottenburg Academy of Fine Arts under Max Kaus and was a master student of Karl Schmidt-Rottluff until 1954, worked in Munich from 1965, travelled to France from 1965-68, influenced by Henri Matisse and Pierre Bonnard Source: Vollmer and Wikipedia.
